The biochemical similarity between the porcelain of a veneer and your own tooth enamel is what gives the veneer its natural, translucent quality. Teeth fitted with veneers are barely distinguishable from the others.

Veneers are extremely thin, translucent ceramic layers that are secured to pre-prepared teeth. They allow the aesthetic correction of slightly misaligned or chipped teeth, gaps in the teeth and unsightly discoloration of the front teeth. As the procedure requires only a very small layer to be removed, the tooth’s natural substance and structure is maintained. Veneers are fitted using a special dental adhesive to create an aesthetic, natural solution for the front teeth.
